중국 역사책 후한서(後漢書)에 따르면, 고려(高麗)의 조상 나라는 고리(高離) 라고 합니다.

The ancestral kingdom of Korea(高麗) is called Kori(高離) following [history of later Han(後漢書)] of China.

 

고리(高離)에 대한 역사는 아직도 러시아 동부, 몽골 위에 바이칼 호 근방에 사는 부리야트 사람들에게서 지금도 들을 수 있습니다.

The history of the Kori(高離) can still be heard from the Buriat tribe living near Lake Baikal in eastern Russia, above Mongolia.

 

지금도 고리(高離) 족들이 살고 있습니다. The Khori still live.

 

 

한반도 남부에서는 가락[駕洛], 가야[伽耶, 伽倻], 가라[加羅]라는 나라들이 있었습니다.

고대 동양의 여러 민족들은, 소리를 표현할 글자가 없어서 한자로 소리를 표현했는데,

The ancient peoples of East Asia expressed their sounds with Chinese characters, because there was no letter to express sound.

 

모음을 제끼고 같은 소리의 자음만으로 비슷한 소리를 만드는 방법입니다.

It is a way to create a similar sound with only consonants of the letter's sound by not considering the vowels.

 

이를 반절법[反切法] 이라고 합니다. This is called half-way law.

 

한자문화권에서 이 목적의 단어는 한자가 달라도 자음만 같다면 같은 뜻이라는 말입니다.

In the kanji culture, If the consonant is the same, the words for this purpose have the same meaning one another, even if the kanji are different.

 

그래서 위 모든 나라 이름의 자음 일치를 갖고, 위 한자들이 다 같은 뜻이라고 말할 수 있습니다.

So we can say that the names of all the countries in this movie have the same meaning, if they have same consonants, even if they have the different kanji letters one another.
